Help make a Breakthrough
Breast Cancer awareness month (BCAM) was introduced as a worldwide campaign in 1993 by Evelyn Lauder. BCAM aims to increase awareness of breast cancer, raise funds for research into the disease, and support those affected by it.
Nearly 44,000 women and just over 300 men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year. The chances of surviving have improved enormously in recent years - thanks to better detection and treatments, but still more than 12,500 people die each year from the disease.
Over the last two years, Brandsmiths have worked with Breakthrough Breast Cancer's fundraising and communications team to further refine the brand strategy and reflect changes both in treatment and attitudes. This also included creating an evolved identity and campaign strategy for the charity. Our work has also covered the development of the Aviva One Walk identity and the supporting graphic elements which have been used both on and offline.
